Bij Barcode Architects ontwerpen we meer dan gebouwen. We creëren inspirerende architectuur die werkt; technisch, ruimtelijk en esthetisch. Ter versterking van ons team zoeken wij een Technisch Ontwerper/ BIM-Modelleur met sterke bouwkundige kennis en uitstekende beheersing van BIM. Iemand die technische kwaliteit borgt, ontwerpdetails uitwerkt en samenwerkt met onze architectenteams om projecten bouwbaar te maken.

Jouw rol

Als Technisch Ontwerper / BIM-Modelleur werk je mee aan projecten in verschillende fasen, van schetsontwerp tot en met technische uitwerking. Je bouwt en beheert BIM-modellen, werkt details uit en zorgt dat onze ontwerpen voldoen aan Nederlandse regelgeving. Je schakelt met architecten, adviseurs en partners en draagt actief bij aan de technische kwaliteit van het bureau.

Wat je gaat doen

• Opzetten, beheren en uitwerken van BIM-modellen (Revit)
• Uitwerken van technische details, doorsneden en bouwkundige tekeningen
• Controleren van modellen op consistentie, kwaliteit en clashes
• Coördineren van informatie met adviseurs, aannemers en interne projectteams
• Toepassen van Nederlandse regelgeving, zoals Bouwbesluit en BBL
• Bijdragen aan standaardisatie, templates en kwaliteitsprocessen binnen het bureau
• Actief meedenken over technische oplossingen in ontwerp- en uitvoeringsfasen

Wat je meebrengt

• Afgeronde HBO of Universitaire opleiding Bouwkunde
• Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring met BIM-modelleren
• Uitstekende beheersing van Revit (must)
• Begrip van BIM-processen, protocollen en projectafspraken
• Kennis van Nederlandse wet- en regelgeving (must) (Bouwbesluit/BBL)
• Technisch inzicht en gevoel voor bouwlogica
• Nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en proactief in communicatie
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels.

To strengthen our team, we’re looking for ambitious Architectural Interns who are eager to learn, contribute to live projects, and grow in a fast-paced, international studio.

Your role

You’ll join one of our project teams and work alongside experienced architects on Dutch and international projects. Expect a steep learning curve: from design studies and model making to drawings, visuals and competition/tender support. You’ll receive clear guidance, regular feedback, and plenty of room to develop your skills.

What you’ll do

• Support concept, schematic and detailed design work (studies, drawings, visuals)
• Build physical and digital models and prepare presentation materials
• Contribute to competitions and tenders (layouts, boards, text & image coordination)
• Collaborate closely with your project lead and the wider team; document your work clearly

Your profile

• Current enrolment in Architecture (BSc/MSc) or a closely related field (required)
• Strong graphic & modelling skills; Rhino, AutoCAD and Adobe CC are a must (Grasshopper/Revit are a plus)
• Affinity with physical model making and prototyping
• Accurate, curious, hands-on, and a team player
• Excellent command of English (Dutch and other languages are a plus)
• Availability for a minimum of 6 months, full-time (32–40 hours/week)
• Preferred start: February/March (or September), earlier/later by agreement

To strengthen our visualisation team, we are looking for an ambitious VR / Visualisation Intern who is eager to learn, contribute to high-quality visual outputs, and grow within our fast-paced, international studio.

The role

As a VR / Visualisation Intern, you will work closely with our architects and visualisation specialists to develop immersive and high-end digital content. You will contribute to VR environments, animations, renderings, and visual storytelling for competitions, design studies and project presentations. You will receive guidance, regular feedback, and the space to develop strong visualisation and technical skills.

What you will do

• Create 3D scenes, assets and environments for VR and visualisation
• Support the production of still renderings, animations and immersive experiences
• Build and maintain VR walkthroughs (e.g. in Enscape, Twinmotion or Unreal)
• Prepare visual content for competitions, tenders and presentations
• Collaborate with design teams; ensure clear structure and documentation of your work
• Contribute to digital material libraries and workflow optimisation where possible

What you bring

• Current enrolment in Architecture, Media/Design, Digital Arts, Game Design or a related field (required)
• Strong 3D and visualisation skills
• 3D modelling experience with Rhino is a must
• Experience with tools such as Enscape/Twinmotion/Unreal, Blender, 3ds Max, or similar
• Knowledge of Adobe CC Photoshop is a must; Premiere and After Effects is a plus
• Interest in architectural visualisation and VR storytelling
• Accurate, curious, hands-on and eager to experiment
• Excellent command of English; Dutch is a plus
• Availability for a minimum of 6 months, full-time (32–40 hours/week)
• Preferred start: February/March or September (earlier/later by agreement)

Als (Senior) Architect maak je deel uit van een van onze gemotiveerde projectteams. Afhankelijk van je ervaring stuur je medewerkers aan en ben je het aanspreekpunt voor opdrachtgevers en adviseurs. Je bent sterk in de latere ontwerpfasen en uitvoering en hebt ervaring met de Nederlandse wet- en regelgeving. Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal is een pré.

Dit ben jij

• Afgestudeerd architect (TU of Academie van Bouwkunst)
• Minimaal 3 – 7 jaar ervaring bij een middelgroot bureau
• Vaardig in Revit en BIM-ontwerptrajecten is een pré
• Ervaren in AutoCAD, Rhino en Adobe Creative Cloud
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en uitstekende kennis van Engels
• Een betrokken, gezellige collega die houdt van uitdaging en teambuilding.
