UN CAMPUS BONN
The UN Campus is situated on the location of the former German ‘Bundesamt’ along the Rhine. On this prominent waterfront location we designed a 15.000m² building with a simple form and representative character. The design challenges the usual rectangular office shape and instead comes with a dynamic parallelogram plan. The twist in the floorplan creates a surprising optical effect from every viewing angle and makes the building appear less massive in the silhouette along the Rhine. At the same time it maximizes the city views for the employees and makes the park naturally flow around it, connecting all the buildings and generating a real campus feeling.

Our design for the UN Campus
reinforces the cohesion between the different buildings, creates an intimate park landscape and gives a new character to the collective and representative image of a green UN Campus on the Rhine.
