KARLSRUHE TOWER

The design for the Karlsruhe project combines the different public functions - short stays and offices, in one volume and generates a pleasant scale with the surroundings by the multiple foldings in the volume. The tower has a striking and dynamic appearance in the city.
The transitional spaces house the collective programs for the end-users such as a library, restaurant and gym. At the street level, the art gallery and cafe activate the public space and interactions between the passers-by.
