MASTERPLAN BERLIN GRUNEWALD

For our masterplan proposal for the Grunewald area in Berlin, we took inspiration from local and historical village structures to redevelop the neighborhood for the 21st century. We reinterpret historical features as a church or the city hall into new focal points, such as community spaces, restaurants, and lookout points. Much attention is paid to creating a sustainable neighborhood too, by designing flexible buildings built from local and sustainable materials and a smart infrastructure with walkable distances and car sharing services.
